Miracles of Honey

Honey is one of the most amazing foods we enjoy today. Its exquisite texture, varying colours, and differentiating tastes make it truly a wonder of nature.
In recent years, honey has been investigated for use in scientific medicine. However, scientists are baffled at certain properties of honey, and are at a loss to explain the undoubted benefits gained by human’s eating nature’s golden wonder.
There are almost 200 ingredients which have been identified in honey. Basically, pure honey is a healthy, easily digestible, natural energy rich food. It contains carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. One tablespoon of honey provides 60 calories and contains 11g of carbohydrates, 1mg of calcium, 0.2mg of iron, 0.lmg of vitamin B and 1mg of vitamin C. The medicinal uses of honey have been documented in many civilizations for thousands of years. We not only see honey used in folk medicine, where honey is used in its pure form or in combination with herbs or other ingredients, but there are many ahadith which refer to honey as a Healer of disease
Prophet Muhammed (SAW) is reported to have said “Honey is a remedy for every physical illness and the Qur’an is a remedy for all mental illness; therefore, I recommend to you both as remedies, the Qur’an and honey.” (Bukhari)
Even though scientists and dieticians cannot explain why honey is such a remarkable food, they can acknowledge the benefits it can give. Here are a few examples of using honey for medicinal purposes in our every day lives.
FOR INFANTS OVER ONE YEAR OLD: use honey as a sweetener to give the infant supplementary minerals and help calcium retention.
SLEEP: To combat sleeplessness, stir one teaspoon of honey into a cup of camomile tea with your evening meal.
DIETING: Use honey as a sweetener where ever possible, because it does not result in an increase in body fat as refined sugar does. If you are trying to lose weight, reduce your portion size and take one tablespoon of honey after a meal to give a feeling of fullness.
COUGHS: To help sooth an irritating cough, mix one cup of boiling water with 2 teaspoons of honey and 2 lemon slices. Sip slowly to bring relief.
DIARRHOEA: A sure cure for diarrhoea is to mix one tablespoon of honey with 200 mls of barley water. Drink half a glass when necessary.
LAXATIVE: Honey has a natural and gentle laxative effect. Take one teaspoon of honey each morning to keep yourself regular.
BURNS: Honey is an outstanding remedy for burns. Apply pure honey directly to open flame burns or steam burns and burns from hot objects. It alleviates the stinging and helps to stop the development of blisters. It will help to prevent infection and assist in swift healing.
MOUTHWASH: Due to its antiseptic properties, honey makes an excellent mouthwash. Mix one tablespoon of honey with a cup of water and two tablespoons of cider vinegar.
Honey is good for the memory, has antibacterial and antifungal properties and wound healing and anti inflammatory properties.
Honey should be used in place of refined sugar with young children and the elderly as it is less strenuous on the digestive system. Honey digests easier then sugar because it has already been digested in part by the honey bee.
This miraculous creature – the honey bee works endlessly to produce one of nature’s most prized resources for the consumption of us humans. As the ayah above states “Verily this is a sign for those who give thought” Allah (subhaana huwa ta’ala) has truly given us a blessing with His gift of honey. With all its properties, it is nothing short of miraculous

These surahs will spread their wings like birds and will save the person from the torment of the grave.’
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was narrated that Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: Whoever reads Tabarakallahi Biyadihil Mulk [i.e. Surah al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. Hijab

Dear sisters,
do you know that the whole world is
actually"wearing "Hijab?!
YES! (The whole world is wearing
Hijab)
The earth is surrounded by the
atmosphere
Fresh fruits have peels on them
The sword is preserved in a sheath
Ink pen would dry without a cap And
would be thrown away because it
became useless
Why would our daughters cover their
books, if not to protect them?!
If an apple became without a peel, it
would be rotten If a banana became
without a peel, its color would turn to
black
And a woman is a beautiful flower
which every one wishes to pick So she
must be protected by Hijab
SubhanAllah! All the world is wearing
Hijab

Allahu Akbar

How to feel the meaning of "Allahu Akbar!"

Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! What does this mean?

Alright! Does it simply mean "Allah is the Greatest!"?

Let us think a bit further on this phrase. Do we really feel it? Do we wholeheartedly believe what we said up there? Hold on! Get more comforted and read the following example.

Compare your size in your house. Compare the size of your house to your city. Compare your city to the country. Compare the size of your country to the continent. Compare the size of your continent to this Earth. Compare the size of the Earth to other planets in this Solar System. Compare this Solar System to the other Solar Systems in this Milky way (Our Galaxy). Compare the size of Milky way to all the Galaxies. Compare all the Galaxies to the size of the Universe. Think about the size of Allah's Throne which is the BIGGEST Creature. Think about Allah Who is beyond our mind limits.

Now...

Think about your size to the size of Allah (Subuhaanahu Wata'aala).

Allah gives more

Once a boy went to a shop with his mother.
The shop keeper looked at the small cute child
and showed him a bottle with sweets...
And said 'Dear Child. You can take the sweets
... But the child didn't take. The shop keeper was
surprised
...
Such a small child he is and why is he not
taking the sweets from the bottle.Again he said
take the sweets. Now the mother also heard
that and said"Take the sweets dear" Yet he
didn't take it.
The shopkeeper seeing the child not taking the
sweets. He himself took the sweets and gave to
the child.
The child was happy to get two hands full of
sweets. While returning home the Mother asked
the child Why didn't you take the sweets, when
the shop keeper told you to take..?
Can you guess the response: Child replies
Mom! My hands are very small and if I take the
sweets I can only take few..
But now you see when uncle gave with his big
hands....How many more sweets I got!
Moral: When we take we may get little but
when Allah gives HE gives us more beyond our
expectations more than what we can think of

It then "dissapeared" for nearly 26 centuries (2600 years) due to the certain events and was rediscovered and dug by the grandfather of our beloved prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam). The location of the well was revealed to him in a dream.

It was only in 1932 the Kiswah (cloth of the Ka'bah) was wholly made by Saudis (citizens of Saudi Arabia).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The roof top of our prophet's (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) masjid in Madina is disigned to be strong enough to carry addtional floors in the future.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The black stone (as it is known), Cannot really be described in full, because the parts we touch with our hands and "Kiss" , are eight small pieces, the biggest of which is the size of a date.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adam (alayhis Salam alaikum) was 30 Ziraa tall. Ziraa is a measurement and one Ziraa is approximately half a metre.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once the Prophet (S) left to pray Fajr Salat from (his wife's home) while she was offering prayer. When he (S) returned after Ishraq prayer, she was still sitting on her prayer carpet. On this he (S) said to her: "Have you been continuously sitting in the same place since I left you?" She replied, "Yes." Thereupon he (S) said: "After I left you, I have recited four sentences three times; and if they could be measured against what you have recited since morning they would prove weightier. These four sentences are:
سبحان الله وبحمده عدد خلقه, ورضا نفسه, وزنة عرشه, ومداد كلماته
"Subhanal lahi wa bi ham-di-hi ada-da Khal-qihi wa rida'a naf-sihi wa zina-ta 'ar-shi-hi wa mida-da Kale-mate-hi."
(Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him, according to the number of His creation and according to His pleasure and corresponding to the weight of His Throne and as much as the ink [used in recording] His words). (M)

Dhikr(supplication)

The Prophet (Salalahu 'alaihi wassallam) said:
The best dhikr is:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله
'La ilaha illa Allah'
(There is no god but Allah).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"There are two expressions which are light on the tongue but heavy in scale and are dear to the Compassionate One (Allah). These two phrases are:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِه
'Subha-nal-lahi-wa-biham-dihi'
(Glorified be Allah and His is the Praise.)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ العَظِيْمِ
'Subha-nal-lahil Adeem'
(Glorified be Allah, the Most Exalted)."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The dearest words to Allah are four:
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ
'SubhanAllah'
(Glory be to Allah)
َالْحَمْدُ لله
'Alhamdulillah'
(Praise be to Allah)
َاللهُ أَكْبَر'
Allahu Akbar'
(God is the Greatest)
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله
'La ilaha illallah'
(There is no god but Allah)

Best time for make Dua

There are certain times dua (supplication) is more likely to be Accepted by Allah
(Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as mentioned by Prophet (salAllahu Alayhi wasalam). These
times are as follows:

1. The Last Third Of The Night
Abu Hurairah (radiAllahu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi
wasalam) said: ‘In the last third of every night our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) (Allah
(Subhanahu wa Ta’ala)) descends
To the lowermost heaven and says; “Who is calling Me, so that I may answer him? Who
is asking Me so that may I grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may
forgive him?” [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith Qudsi]
Amr ibn Absah narrated that the Prophet said: ‘The closest any worshipper can be to His
Lord is during the last part of the night, so if you can be amongst those who remember
Allah at that time, then do so.’  [at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa’i, al-Hakim - Sahih]

2. Late At Night
When people are sleeping and busy with worldly pleasures Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala)
gives the believers an opportunity, or an answer hour if they can fight sleep and invoke
Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) for whatever they need.
The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said: ‘There is at night an hour, no Muslim
happens to be asking Allah any matter of this world or the Hereafter, except that he will
be given it, and this (occurs) every night.’ [Muslim #757]

3. Between Adhan and Iqamah
Anas (radiAllahu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:
‘A supplication made between the Adhan and Iqama is not rejected.’
[Ahmad, abu Dawud #521, at-Tirmidhi #212, Sahih al-Jami #3408, an-Nasai
and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (sound)]

4. An Hour On Friday
Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiAllahu anhu): Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam)
talked about Friday and said: ‘There is an hour on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while
offering Salat (prayer) and asks something from Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), then Allah
(Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will definitely meet his demand.’ And he (the Prophet (salAllahu
alayhi wasalam) pointed out the shortness of that particular time with his hands.
[Sahih al-Bukhari]

Subhan Allah

Importance of Salah(Nmaz)

1. Salah is an act of worship: It is not a custom. It is not a ritual. It is very special. It has no equal. It has no alternative. There are no excuses, even when you are ill, on a journey or even in a war.

2. Salah is the second and most important pillar of Islam.

3. Salah is a practical sign of obedience to the commands of Allah. It is the practical proof of our faith in Allah and Islam.

4. Salah is the only distinction between a Mo’min and a non-Mo’min.

5. Salah reminds you of Allah (SWT), when you get up in the morning, it reminds you three more times when you are busy during the day, and once again before you go to bed.

6. Salah is a direct contact or link between the worshipper and Allah with no earthly intermediaries. It is the Me’raaj of a Mo’min.

7. Salah builds a strong defense against evils which exist around us. It is said in the Holy Qur’an that, surely, Salah keeps you away from indecency and evil. This is why the prayer is described as “remembrance” to Allah (SWT).

8. Salah wipes out our sins: Prophet Muhammad (SAAWS) once asked his companions “Tell me if there was a river at the door step of one of you in which you washed 5 times a day would any of your dirt remain?” When he received the reply that none of it would remain he then said “That is like the 5 times Salah, with which Allah (SWT) wipes out sin.

10. Salah was the last will of the Prophet (SAAWS). As his soul departed he said with his last breaths: As-Salah, As-Salah.

11. Salah is the first thing that a person is judged by on the Day of Judgement. If it was good, the rest of all his deeds will be good. But if it was poor, the rest of all his deeds will be poor.

12- It is the first thing to be asked about on the day of resurrection , if prayer is accepted then all man’s work will be accepted and if it is not accepted all his work will not be accepted either.

13- It is a distinguishing sign for pious (devoted) believers as Allah says: “and perform prayer “( surat Al-Bakkara/ verse 3).

14- This who preserves prayer preserves his religion, and this who abandons it loses his religion.

15- Islam is in man’s heart as far as prayer is in his heart and his share in Islam equals his share of prayer.

16- It is a sign of loving Allah and appreciating His Blessings.

17- Allah The Almighty ordered us to preserve it whether we are traveling or staying, during war and peace and whether we are ill or healthy.

18- Texts declare that who abandons prayer is a disbeliever (an atheist). Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said “what lies between a man and atheism is abandoning prayer “

“(Muslim accounts) and said “prayer is the commitment between us, who abandons it disbelieves - becomes a disbeliever or becomes an atheist – (Ahmad and people of norms “sunan” account). When this who abandons prayer dies he is considered an atheist, he is not washed nor enshrouded, no one prays for him, he is not buried in Muslims’ graves, his relatives do not inherit from him and his money goes to beit al-mal (where the money of Muslim states is kept) in addition to other similar provisions that apply to those who abandon prayer.
